The Challenge

Our client, a private healthcare provider in Sydney, had been struggling to recruit a permanent Quality Manager despite ongoing efforts. Recognising the critical importance of this role in ensuring the organisation’s compliance and quality standards, they engaged us to conduct a permanent executive search. 

Given the urgency to maintain operational continuity and uphold quality and safety during this recruitment period, we were also tasked with identifying an experienced Interim Quality Manager who could step in immediately to keep key projects on track and support the team through this gap. 

Our Approach 

Leveraging our strong networks within healthcare leadership, we moved swiftly to identify suitable interim candidates. Within days, we had pinpointed five high-calibre Quality Managers based in Sydney with the capability to step into the role at short notice. We reached out to them directly, conducted targeted screening interviews, and assessed their fit for the organisation’s immediate needs, culture, and risk profile. 

The Outcome 

By the following week, we had successfully identified, screened, and presented an available candidate to the client. They progressed quickly through the client’s internal interview process and were appointed to commence without delay. 

The Interim Quality Manager was able to provide substantial support to the organisation at a critical time, ensuring quality standards were maintained and projects continued seamlessly. In addition, they facilitated a comprehensive handover and played an integral role in onboarding and integrating the new permanent Quality Manager placement we subsequently made into the role.
